Akshay Promoted to SWIFT Regional Partner

New accreditation is SWIFT’s highest level of recognition

(Princeton, NJ – 28 January 2010) – Adding to its long list of SWIFT accreditations and certifications, Akshay Software International Inc. is pleased to announce that in recognition of Akshay’s consistent record of excellent service and support to the SWIFT community in the US and Caribbean regions, Akshay has been promoted to SWIFT Regional Partner for North America. Regional Partner is SWIFT’s highest level of accreditation.

For years as both a SWIFTReady Services Provider and SWIFT Service Bureau, Akshay has been delivering high quality SWIFT professional services and subject matter expertise. In addition to Akshay’s numerous technical certifications, Akshay also has, by far, the largest number of SWIFT solution business certifications of any partner in the Americas. Akshay’s business certifications cover all three user communities that SWIFT serves: supervised financial institutions, non-supervised entities active in the financial industry, and closed user groups/corporates. Thus, in addition to technical and operational expertise, Akshay is certified to provide guidance on the business aspects of SWIFT implementation and integration.

Constructed with components from SWIFT, and maintained and supported by Akshay’s and Financeware’s SWIFT-certified engineers, the Akshay/Financeware SWIFT Service Bureau consistently achieves SAS70 Type II compliance designations, and recently attained SWIFT’s new and highest accreditation for Service Bureaux, “Best Practice”.

As a SWIFT Regional Partner, Akshay is now additionally empowered to offer SWIFT’s entire suite of products, solutions, and services. Regional Partnership awards Akshay a closer working relationship with SWIFT, including joint client events, initiatives, and opportunities designed to provide added value and benefit to Akshay’s and SWIFT’s clients.
